Unit Description:
Case Integrity is a support unit for the agency. Broome County Security Division employees are assigned to this unit to review all public assistance applications prior to benefits being issued. FEDS is a mandated program that directs local districts to conduct pre-eligibility investigations on all applications of Safety Net and Family Assistance in accordance with a prescribed criterion.
