Groundbreaking of the Binghamton Intermodal Transit Terminal

Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala, Congressman Maurice Hinchey, City of Binghamton Mayor Matt Ryan, local business owners and residents gathered on the corner of Chenango and Henry Streets for the groundbreaking of the new Binghamton Intermodal Transit Terminal. The project, estimated to cost $12 million, will include 14 inter-city bus platforms six for Greyhound buses, and eight for Coach USA and Short Line and a saw-tooth-style bay for local transit buses. The terminal is slated to be completed in the spring of 2010.
