Executive Fiala Appointed to National Association of Counties: Community and Economic Development Steering Committee
BINGHAMTON, NY - Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala has been appointed as a member of the Community and Economic Development Steering committee of the National Association of Counties (NACO). This committee addresses current economic trends across the Nation, advises on federal appropriations and provides direction for federal economic development funding.
“I am looking forward to collaborating with county leaders from across the nation to address our economic strengths and weaknesses,” commented Executive Fiala. “It is critical for leaders to address economic development issues on a regional basis to develop comprehensive solutions to improve our current financial outlook.”
