Spring and Summer Entertainment at the Arena and Forum

BINGHAMTON, NY - Today, Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala announced several spring and summer performances that will be held at the Broome County Veteran's Memorial Arena and Forum Theater. She was joined by Arena Manager Brian Hoffman and Brian Sickora President and CEO of WSKG to unveil the international performing group that will be launching their 50 city tour in Binghamton this fall.

“We have a diverse array of performers coming into our area to entertain audiences of all ages,” said Executive Fiala. “These world renowned performances are an excellent addition to our area's thriving arts and entertainment culture.”

One of the most anticipated performances is that of Celtic Thunder. Tour Promoter AEG and Celtic Thunder will be launching their 50 city tour in Binghamton at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on October 3rd. The group from Ireland will also be rehearsing and carrying out pre-production setup at the Arena beginning at the end of September. WSKG will be featuring the group in their program line–up throughout the summer. Celtic Thunder can be previewed on WSKG, Cable Channel 7 on Monday, June 2nd at 8pm.

“Over the past few years we have been able to draw in more artists and entertainers to perform in our superb facilities,” commented Brian Hoffman Manager of the Broome County Veteran's Memorial Arena. “We are continuing to book exciting acts and hope to have more announcements for the upcoming season.”
